So my recommendation is look at pve and premium benefits, and if you think you'll ever return and want to premium then don't refund the pack.Titles appear above characters' names and can be unlocked by completing achievements. But anyways, the game can definitely be played without premium its just a lot smoother with it. I can't tell you how nice it's been to be able to sell trash on the go instead of having to go find a shop or run around with a full inventory. That portable shop alone is a good enough reason to have the master pack since you get at rank 4. Is it P2W? No, but the quality of life in premium (wardrobe, shorter windstride cooldown (map teleport), shorter chi recovery (when you die and need to meditate), tons of auction slots, tiny blade & soul gold boost from quest/mobs (it adds up), reduced fees on upgrades/selling in auction, and not to mention the portable shop. In my opinion this is really a subscription game with an infinite free trial, except the trial has access to everything. This is all if you plan to play premium, but don't forget even if you don't play for a year assuming the premium is 1200 NCoin ($15) then the 7,200 NCoin in the master pack will buy you 6 months of premium. The booster pack alone is especially nice for any player because you get enough dragon trade pouches to almost max out your inventory from the start, so then all those pouches from surveys/quests can be used on your warehouse. Then you get the costumes, 3 months premium (you'd probably only have a month left), name reservations, max character slots, and the booster pack. The master pack starts you at rank 6 (rank 5 + 7200 NCoin) which is already over $125 without adding the $90 value of the NCoin itself.
You will never be able to get a deal that good later on, especially if you plan to play with premium. If you do like it and think you'll return then I'd say keep the master's pack. Pve can actually be pretty difficult and fun from what I've tried on the Asian servers and that was with 200+ ping (though its still hard for people with low ping).įor all those who like pve and are debating whether you should refund or not, I'd say go watch some videos/streams on current endgame blade and soul pve. At the moment I don't think pve players will be satisfied since there's no endgame content, but within 1-2 months of release they should start adding more if they don't add some for release.
